VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY BELOW FOR YOUR PROJECT
What to consider before your scheduled project?
To allow sufficient curing time, Schedule Landscapers, Pool, and Lawn Maintenance at least 48-72 hours after we have completed your home.
What to consider before your scheduled project?
We kindly request that you remove all furniture and other items from the area where we will be working before the start of work.
Please ensure that all furniture and decorations are not on or near the area being worked on, and that non-permanently mounted wall decorations are removed before our equipment is used, as they can create a force.
Turn off Sprinklers and waterfalls that can come in contact with sealed surfaces.
Upon Request, we will assist with moving or covering heavier items for the homeowner.
You may need to clean the pool afterward and have the chemical balance checked and adjusted accordingly.
The sealed surface can be opened to light foot traffic within 6 hours of sealing, only if necessary. Please note that it may appear tacky before fully curing.
You can walk with a manager while we are there; you will see us walking, inspecting the entire area, and taking pictures.
Wait at least 48 hours before allowing your pets to walk on the surfaces.
You may replace the furniture and use your pool or spa after 48 hours have passed since your surface has cured.
*High humidity or elevated moisture may take longer to cure out*
What to consider before your scheduled project?
Please ensure that all vehicles that need to be used are removed from the garage and driveway and kept at least 30 feet away from the work area, so they do not obstruct our truck or equipment.
We ask that you remove all furniture and other items from the area we will be working on before work begins. Please ensure they’re at least 30 feet from the work being done.
Please ensure that all furniture and decorations are not on or near the area being worked on, and that non-permanently mounted wall decorations are removed before our equipment is used, as they can create a force.
TVs and all Electronics should be removed before your service. If they cannot be moved, then they must be covered and sealed off.
Turn off Sprinklers that may come in contact with sealed surfaces.
We will tape off your Driveway. Please leave this up for at least 48 hours to avoid accidental driveway use.
The sealed surface can be opened to light foot traffic within 6 hours of sealing, only if necessary. Please note that it may feel tacky before fully curing; please stay off until the designated wait time has passed.

What should you consider before your scheduled Stripping project?
Paver Stripping: See above for more information on the areas we are working on
Includes all of the above for each area.
Pool Filters: Leave them off. Once we are finished, your pool maintenance company should check and flush your pool filtration system.
Pools/Spas: Please consult your pool maintenance company. We highly recommend draining, cleaning, balancing chemicals, and refilling your pool after stripping. They will know what’s best.
Ensure all furniture/accessories, wall hangings, and items are away from the stripping area, as it can sometimes be dusty and, of course, wet.
Keep all windows, doors, and entrances locked to prevent them from opening or allowing anyone to enter the area being stripped accidentally.
Please ensure that all furniture and decorations are not in or near the area being worked on; they should be at least 20 feet away from the site.
The sealed surface can be opened to light foot traffic within 6 hours of sealing, only if necessary. Please note that it may feel tacky before fully curing.
Q. What is the difference between drying and curing
A: Drying is visually seen by the observer. A coating may be dry to the touch but still needs additional time to reach its proper cure point.
If traffic is allowed on the coating too soon, i.e., before it has cured, premature wear can occur. Therefore, we always recommend waiting 48 hours after application for the final cure to take effect. Of course, this will vary with weather conditions, humidity, temperature, and design.
Q. How will humidity affect the drying of the sealer
A. Higher humidity and/or cooler temperatures impact the sealer’s curing process. Higher humidity, above 50-60%, prevents water from evaporating properly from the coatings. Lower temperatures below 70°F also slow the curing process.
Q. Can you remove 100% of the old and failed coatings?
A. Our objective is maximum safe removal of all existing sealers and failed coatings. We use commercial-grade stripping agents, high-temperature pressure-washing systems, and professional surface-cleaning equipment designed specifically for paver restoration.
In most cases, we achieve substantial removal under our standard stripping process. However, complete removal cannot be guaranteed. Final results depend on several variables, including:
- Type and brand of previously applied sealer
- Number of existing coats
- Whether a new sealer was applied over a failing layer
- Length of time the coating has been on the surface
- Covered or uncovered areas
- Traffic Patterns
- Absorption rate and condition of the pavers
Some sealers penetrate deeply into the pore structure of the paver or chemically bond with prior coatings, which can limit full extraction without risking surface damage.
For best results, we strongly recommend providing detailed information about any previous applications. The more we know about what was applied and when, the more precisely we can determine the safest and most effective restoration method.
Please have all pets and children inside while we work on the areas for safety reasons.
Garage doors, Exterior doors, and windows are closed & secured. Please place a towel under any exterior doors, windows, or openings that may leak. The home is expected to be watertight and in good working order. Ensure the property’s water is on and the spigot is accessible. Please inform us of any areas that may leak or are not watertight so we can document them.

We will take pictures and videos before, during, and after. We don’t give out any personal information.
Disclaimer: Results vary based on existing sealer type, number of applications, and substrate condition. Paver Restoration of Florida does not guarantee 100% removal of prior coatings.
