Nano Sealer for Concrete Sealing: What is the Difference?

By Kyle June 16, 2023

Whether the surface in question is concrete, pavers, stone, or many other options, Nano Sealer can provide a hydrophobic layer that will reduce the growth of mold and mildew for years! This type of sealer is both cost-efficient and practically worth your while especially if you are looking into long-term investment for the maintenance of your concrete pavement.

Our Sealer is a nanotechnology coating that is solvent-based or water-based, penetrating, V.O.C. compliant water-repellent which contains a proprietary modified silicone. This solvent-based silicone penetrates up to 1/4 inch or more, depending on surface porosity and moisture content at the time of application. Splash Proof reacts with the minerals in concrete, pavers, and stone. This reaction forms strong permanent bonds beneath the surface and creates a hydrophobic zone that prevents water molecules from penetrating while allowing the free migration of water vapors. The chemical bonds formed in this process allow Splash Proof to become an integral part of the substrate and provide long-term water-repellent protection.

Wondering if Nano Concrete Sealant is the right choice for your pavement maintenance project? You may want answers to the following questions:

ONE: What are the Benefits of Using Nano Sealer for Concrete Pavement Maintenance?

Nano Sealer water-repellent products create long-lasting protection (up to 15 years) from negative environmental effects. Our products were designed to combat these problems, not only increasing the longevity of treated structures but also decreasing maintenance costs.

Effective hydrophobization is possible without using inorganic compounds. The more efficient the hydrophobization is, the more likely that your concrete pavement will adapt to natural elements that tend to disturb its integrity. In the long run, it is this process that will determine whether the sealant used is effective and worth your consideration.
